We at Rainforest Expeditions in Costa Rica offer safe, carefully designed and custom crafted programs for Colleges, Universities and High Schools.  With offices operating year-round in both the United States and Costa Rica, we also provide complete logistics, adventure activities and support to Adventure Travel and Experiential Education Programs.

For 25 years, deep in the Savegre River Valley, the Fonseca family has hosted school groups and large travel programs as well as private individuals, families and corporate groups.  Our local ties provide our staff with an intimate knowledge of the area ensuring our participants a genuine, remarkable and safe experience.

Our directors have a combined 35 years of experience in adventure-based travel, experiential education and eco-tourism.  They have personally guided, directed and planned more than  600 expeditions in North, Central and South America, ranging from 8 to 85 days in length.

From trip-leading, directing, program planning and logistics - complemented by exciting activities and group interaction at our amazing Eco-lodge Adventure Center - Rainforest Adventure Center Expeditions is certified by the Costa Rican Tourism Board (ICT).

Our programs support a number of rural communities and families in Costa Rica.  We spend time each year traveling throughout the rural regions of Costa Rica, developing relationships and establishing service projects in the communities which need it most.  Each RACE participant has a positive impact on the communities in which we travel and the opportunity to change lives for the better.
